In November 2025, the future CCAT consortium met for the first time at the University of Tartu, Estonia to align on the strategic and operational foundations of the CCAT project. The internal session focused on establishing governance structures, timelines, and operational protocols to ensure a successful project launch. The consortium confirmed a structured management framework, including a Steering Committee for high-level oversight, a Project Management Board for day-to-day operations, and a dedicated working group for dissemination and communication.
The official project kick-off meeting was scheduled for February 2026, with an All-hands meeting planned in the Czech Republic in March 2026 to finalize priorities for tools development.
