PRESSTO (Physical Response Emulation System for Secure Testing Operations) is a tool designed to automate the way humans interact with physical devices. Instead of relying on manual testing, it replicates real user actions such as pressing buttons and adjusting controls, while simultaneously interpreting on-screen output through a camera and OCR. This enables accurate, repeatable, and fully automated testing in scenarios where traditional software-based approaches are not sufficient.

At the Maker Faire festival, Milan Šorf and Jan Kvapil (MUNI) will demonstrate how PRESSTO works in practice, in a format designed to be accessible to all visitors — from curious members of the public and younger visitors to industry representatives and IT professionals.
